Two men, Bruno and Roberto, meet by chance in Rome on a holiday weekend. Bruno, 36, is an extroverted thrill-seeker, while Roberto, a law student, is introverted and unsure of himself. Despite their differences, they embark on a road trip together, with Bruno's sports car taking them on a joyride filled with his whims. As they travel, Roberto learns more about Bruno's carefree nature and begins to see the limitations of his own life.
