A former professional diver, Marta is forced to retire due to injury and returns to her family's ancient home in Matera, a town surrounded by unspoiled nature. She must confront the loss of her artistic father and finds solace in the works of another local artist, Sebastian, and his Japanese model who pose in extreme positions that captivate Marta.
