Eight-year-old Ismael boards a train to Barcelona, fleeing his home in search of his unknown father Felix. The only clue he has is an address written on a letter to his mother. After arriving, he finds the apartment and meets Felix's mother, Nora, who is shocked to discover the child's existence. Despite Felix's initial denial, he eventually acknowledges paternity, and Nora decides to bring Ismael to meet him.
