Two former AAF pilots, Kelly and Andy, operate a cargo service in South America to save up for a commercial line back in Texas. After Andy's tragic death in a plane crash, Kelly meets Laurey, a woman on the run from her abusive ex-husband. They team up and escape to a mining camp, where they hope to start anew in Texas.
