Aftab, an unemployed smuggler, tries to seize a weapons consignment meant for terrorists, but after being followed, he decides to destroy it. This leads to him being recognized by the terrorists. As he prepares to marry his beloved Ruksana, he discovers his family's dark secrets, including the identity of his biological father. After his father's death, Aftab meets his resentful step-brother Jai, who helps him escape from the terrorists and the police, who accuse them of being accomplices.
