La porta del cannone background

La porta del cannone

In the Austrian city of Graz, a skilled Italian spy assumes the identity of a Swiss entrepreneur, forging a strong connection with a Czech Jewish woman while infiltrating the ranks of a brutal Nazi organization led by the formidable Tsaimitis.

During World War II, a Swiss businessman cover is used by Italian secret agent Riccardo Cloro to infiltrate Graz. He meets Rada, a Czech Jew, on the train and soon learns his mission: to assassinate Tsaimitis, the leader of the Budapest resistance movement. However, he's not the only one with this goal, as Müller from the Gestapo is also on the job. After returning to his hotel, Cloro is forced to let Müller search his apartment and brutally interrogate Rada, leading him to question his own ideals.
