Lawman

A group of drunken cattlemen accidentally kill an old man while celebrating in the town of Bannock. When the lawman, Jered Maddox, arrives to arrest them for murder, the town's benevolent leader, Vince Bronson, offers restitution. However, Maddox refuses to compromise, putting small ranchers like Vern Adams in a difficult position. As tensions rise, Maddox's pursuit of justice leads to a showdown with Bronson and the rest of the town, who resist his relentless efforts.
