Two Albanian immigrants in Belgium, Sokol and Lorna, aspire to open a snack bar, but need funds and residency. Meanwhile, Claudy is a junkie seeking cash to fuel his addiction. A cigarette smuggler, Andrei, has a fortune, but must lay low in Russia. Fabio, an Italian taxi driver and aspiring gang leader, concocts a plan: Claudy will marry Lorna to secure her Belgian citizenship, then she'll remarry Andrei, who'll pay a hefty price to Fabio and Lorna for the EU passport. However, reality soon thwarts their scheme.
