A young lawyer, Warren Ramsey, becomes stranded on an island with his wife, friend, and a few others after a mysterious blow to the head. As he tries to survive, he becomes convinced that his wife and friend are having an affair and plots to stop it. Meanwhile, he also tries to bring an innocent old man, accused of murder, back to face trial, despite the objections of the others.
