Vijay Sethupathi's character Prem Kumar is set to get married, but a day before the wedding, he gets injured while playing cricket with friends. The injury causes him to develop short-term memory loss, forgetting his life after college and his upcoming marriage. His friends try to keep his condition a secret and plan to help him recover his memory by enacting a drama-filled sequence of events, including convincing him to marry his lover.
