Two outlaws, Jim Lacey and Cash Burridge, flee from a sheriff who suspects them of committing crimes. They settle in Arizona, where Jim becomes embroiled in a crooked gambler's scheme to cheat an old rancher out of his property. Jim outwits the gambler and wins back the deed, but soon discovers the old man has taken his own life. Jim and Cash decide to start a new life as ranchers, but soon find themselves facing off against a gang of rustlers led by a respected local citizen.
