The movie follows Francis, Sam, and Nate as they grow up idolizing the older boys from their neighborhood who make money and move on the streets. When Francis's brother is sent to prison, Francis takes on the responsibility of being the man of the house for his mother and younger siblings. The trio has a string of successful robberies, but things take a turn when they steal from the wrong crew. With only seven days to pay back the debt, the boys become desperate and are forced to make deals with old enemies, entangling themselves deeper in the Sydney criminal underworld.
