Three individuals from the 21st century, a scientist, a model, and her photographer, find themselves transported back to ancient Roman Switzerland in the 1st Century A.D. They are welcomed by a small village of the Arverni tribe and convince them to join forces against the Roman Empire under the tyrannical rule of Emperor Nero.
