Stranded and struggling to survive, he is taken in by a tribe where a young single mother, Yongcho, is shunned as a "cursed woman" due to her supposed evil incarnation. As Robert recovers, he and Yongcho form an unlikely bond, learning to know each other and themselves in a harsh environment where nature is unforgiving.
