A group of Rwandan children, all under the age of 10, are fighting for their lives as they await heart surgery to treat a condition caused by childhood strep throat.

Rwandan children, afflicted with a treatable heart disease from childhood strep throat, embark on a perilous journey to Sudan for high-risk heart surgery, as their lives hang in the balance with only months to live.
