Cal Sheridan, a hero, helps Major Goodwin and his daughter Alice at the Ruby Valley express station, where they're being targeted by outlaws Griff Atkins and his gang. Cal takes charge, assisted by Shorty, and sets out to capture the outlaws, who killed a relay station owner and stole his horses. Along the way, Alice decides to stay in Ruby Valley and marry Cal.
