Two strangers, Prem and Geet, pretend to get married to escape their families' pressure to tie the knot. Initially, they try to keep their relationship platonic, but eventually, they fall deeply in love. However, their fake marriage creates tension and they are eventually forced apart. Despite trying to convince their parents, they fail and Geet ultimately decides to end her life, with Prem following suit.
