A cunning con artist devises a scheme to deceive a woman, using her as a pawn to aid his hapless accomplice.
Two young men, Duke and Boots, rob a California gas station owner. Duke, a confident and aggressive individual, teases Boots about his lack of romantic conquests. Duke offers to help Boots seduce a woman, and they force a passing driver to chase after Ann Carlyle, the alluring wife of an insurance executive whose desires are not being fulfilled by her husband.
