Jim Carey and his friend Ike arrive in Red River to join their friend Chet Andrews in owning a cattle ranch. However, they find Chet in jail after resisting a swindler, Scott Yager, who is trying to evict him from the ranch. Yager has a fake Spanish land grant and is evicting ranchers who won't pay rent. Jim and Ike team up with a newspaper editor and his daughter, and as the masked vigilante "Mr. Justice", they help the ranchers by returning their stolen money. But Yager discovers their true identities, and Jim and Ike are eventually captured.
