Rescue Dawn

In 1965, a US Navy pilot's plane crashes in the jungle during a secret mission to bomb Laos. The pilot, Dieter Dengler, is captured and sent to a prisoner camp where he meets five other prisoners and guards. Despite initial disagreements, Dieter forms a close bond with one prisoner, Duane, and they hatch an escape plan. However, their journey is fraught with danger and betrayal, ultimately leading them to realize that the jungle itself has become their prison.
