Tex Regan arrives at the Crane ranch, where he prevents Blackie and Pete from burning it down. However, he's accused of working with Pablo, the notorious bandit, and is captured by Jim Bannister's men. After being freed by Bannister, Tex discovers an emblem similar to those left after Pablo's raids in Bannister's house, leading him to suspect the rancher of being the true culprit.
