On Halloween night, a group of teenagers, including Warren, Brad, Shelley, and Barbara, visit their town's haunted house, unaware that a notorious killer, John Louis Barker, is roaming free. As they wait in line, Warren's unease grows, and his fun night takes a dark turn when he becomes convinced he's trapped in the haunted house with Barker.
