In the island of Salerma, a new doctor named Andrea de Novi takes over the experiment to connect a human brain with a computer system, previously led by María Ruiz. Andrea begins to suspect something is amiss when co-director Marquina warns her to leave the experiment, and she starts to uncover the dark truth behind the project. With the help of her colleagues and friends, Andrea discovers that the experiment was tested on human subjects before, including a child, and that the failure of the experiment led to the death of a doctor and María's supposed suicide. As Andrea tries to stop the experiment and the people involved, she also learns that the autism of Fer, Ulloa's son, was accidentally induced and works to cure him before Benedict and Ulloa catch up.
