Two friends, Ollie and Stan, concoct a plan to attend a convention in Chicago by faking illnesses and convincing a veterinarian to prescribe a trip to Hawaii. They return home, dressed in Hawaiian attire and playing ukuleles, only to find that the ship they supposedly sailed on has sunk. Their wives, however, are not fooled and have seen the convention parade on a newsreel, featuring none other than the duo themselves.

Stan and Ollie, two comedians, embark on a deceitful escapade, masquerading as a relaxing cruise with their wives while actually attending a convention, leading to a chaotic and laugh-out-loud revelation when their wives uncover the truth.
