A dancer twists her ankle at a theater rehearsal, and a costume designer drives her to a nearby hospital, but they end up at a mental institution. After a doctor treats her ankle, they return to the theater, only to discover a psychopath has escaped and is now on the loose, causing a crime spree that threatens the lives of everyone involved.
