In this sci-fi adventure, a group of humans, including a scientist, his daughter, and several young technicians, find themselves taken hostage by aliens from the constellation Hydra who crash-landed on the island of Sardinia. As the aliens repair their spaceship, they take their human captives with them on a journey to their home planet. But when the humans attempt to stage a mutiny, they inadvertently send their tiny spaceship hurtling into the unknown.
