Two rival ranchers form an unlikely alliance to provide horses to the U.S. Army during World War II, but their partnership is put to the test when one of them struggles to compromise.

Rival ranchers Steve Barrett and "Tiny" Baldwin team up to supply horses to the U.S. Army during World War II, but their competition takes a backseat as they vie for the Singing Championship at the 1944 Frontier Days Celebration. Steve's ranch is aided by actress Penny Morrow, who can sing, but her professional background threatens to disqualify her from the competition.
