A group of college students, led by Pam, embark on a trek to an abandoned mine on a remote mountain, initially believing they're there to restore the environment. However, Pam's true interest lies in folklore and parapsychology, and the group soon discovers a dark history surrounding the mine. After encountering a hermit who knows the sinister truth, they must confront and escape the evil that has haunted the mine since a tragedy in 1845.
