Ismael Lopez, a former petty criminal, kidnaps Leire, a woman left mute and mentally impaired after a shooting 20 years prior. He's motivated by fear of being recognized and turned in by Leire, who was the daughter of his victim. Despite his initial intentions, Ismael finds himself forming a bond with Leire as they share their love for chocolate and he tries to make her laugh.
