The Drum

A British officer embarks on a covert mission to expose arms trafficking on the Northwest Frontier of India, seeking to forestall a looming uprising.

Captain Carruthers goes undercover to stop the smuggling of arms in India's North West Frontier, anticipating a rebellion. The British governor signs a treaty with the ruler of Tokot, a peaceful kingdom, to prevent the uprising. The king's son, Prince Azim, befriends Carruthers and a British drummer boy, learning to play the instrument from Bill Holder.
