A retired English teacher's peaceful existence is disrupted by the sudden reappearance of a troubled playwright, who was once mentored by them and now seeks to revive their artistic passion.
A middle-aged high school English teacher, Linda Sinclair, lives a simple life surrounded by her favorite literature and two Siamese cats. Her life is turned upside down when her former star pupil, Jason Sherwood, returns to town after trying to make it as a playwright in New York.
