In a near-future space station, a man named Leon accidentally travels back in time to the court of Marie Antoinette, where he becomes embroiled in a romantic affair with the queen. However, their love is short-lived as Leon is caught by the king and imprisoned in the Bastille. Meanwhile, his friend Daria attempts to rescue him, but finds herself transported to ancient Arabia instead. She eventually reunites with Leon and together they journey through time and space to prevent a dystopian future where Fascists have taken over. Along the way, they meet a cast of characters including Shahrazad, Aladdin, and Al Capone. Ultimately, Mimi must return to the past and infiltrate King Louis's court to save freedom and fulfill her destiny.
