A struggling skating team, Mary and Larry, face a challenge when Mary's solo picture contract takes off, leaving Larry out of work. In a bid to prove his worth, Larry leaves Hollywood to partner with a former skating partner and launch an ice revue in Canada, which becomes a massive hit, but ultimately leads to a rift between the couple.
