A merchant ship sinks in a storm off Scotland's west coast in 1846. Three survivors, lost and disoriented, find themselves on a remote island with only four residents: an old harbor man, a farmer, his niece, and a young mad woman. The island's residents are reluctant to help the sailors and seem to be hiding a dark secret. As the sailors try to find a way back to the mainland, one of them begins to investigate the island's strange occurrences and discovers a tragic history of young men dying at sea every year. When his shipmates meet fatal accidents, he must uncover the truth behind the island's curse and the ghostly siren legend before he becomes the island's next victim.
