In rural Isan, Thailand, a serene existence is disrupted by a malevolent presence that targets a shaman's family, unleashing a terrifying struggle for survival.

A documentary crew travels to a remote Thai village to record the daily life of Nim, a local healer and shamaness who believes she embodies the spirit of a benevolent deity. When Nim's niece Mink begins to exhibit strange signs of divine awakening, Nim believes Mink is destined to become the new medium, but Mink's mental health rapidly declines and bizarre incidents threaten the community's faith.
