Daffy Duck becomes obsessed with watching Bugs Bunny's favorite TV show, "Beat Your Buddy". He decides to participate, but his attempts to get to the studio are thwarted by numerous accidents. When Daffy finally arrives, he uses a secret weapon to get to the top floor, injuring himself and Bugs. Despite their initial setback, they both return to the studio and Daffy emerges victorious. However, his joy is short-lived as he realizes he gave away the grand prize, a box containing 1,000,000 one-dollar bills, to Bugs.
