Private Donald Duck takes unauthorized leave, but his ruse is foiled by Sergeant Pete, who's waiting for his return. Donald hides in a box, playing a shell game, until Pete tosses it over a sharp fence, sawing it in half. Donald survives the ordeal, only to be chased by Pete, who's slowed down by the 35 MPH speed limit.
