In this crime drama, a former thief, Terry, and his girlfriend Judy attempt to leave their life of crime behind, but their plans are thwarted when Terry's boss refuses to release him. Meanwhile, Judy finds a legitimate job working for a wealthy individual. However, when Terry's boss, Doc, breaks into the millionaire's safe, he is killed in the ensuing struggle. As the investigation unfolds, Judy and Terry become prime suspects, but a keen-eyed detective, who witnessed the robbery, ultimately clears their names.
