Woody Woodpecker attempts to sneak into the Drips vs. Droops baseball game by dodging the ticket gate, but a persistent policeman keeps removing him. Undeterred, Woody dons a baseball uniform and cap, blending in with the players, and soon finds himself caught up in the action. However, his involvement takes an unexpected turn when a barrage of baseballs from the entire ballpark leaves him stuck to the scoreboard.
