Irish adventurer Emmett Keogh and a hard-drinking priest named Van Horne team up in revolutionary Central America, initially caught up in a gun-running scheme with smuggler Jennings. However, they soon join forces to take down ruthless despot Tomas de la Plata, who brutally oppresses his people and has a particular vendetta against priests.
