Three convicts escape from Mississippi State Penitentiary in 1936 to embark on a series of bank robberies, showcasing their unique skills. One falls in love with a woman they meet at their hideout, while another enjoys a romance and a carefree lifestyle. The third is a thrill-seeker who loves his work.
