In a room with a mysterious painting, a red-clothed puppet with a fascination for gadgets and dandelion tufts lives a peculiar life. His world is disrupted by the arrival of a bird-man, drawn in by the suggestive artwork. As the bird-man investigates, the painting suddenly traps him, and the puppet seizes the opportunity to ensnare his new captive. With the bird-man's wings clipped, the puppet cages him inside the table and takes his tricycle for a wild ride around his newfound prisoner.
