The film brings together 30 women of varied sexualities and transfolk of color in a Brooklyn brownstone for a two-day gathering, uncovering a wealth of history.

In a Brooklyn brownstone, a music video was made for "Make a Move", which premiered on MTV's LOGO and was the first to depict women of color across sexualities and gender expression. The film showcases the creation of this video, featuring thirty women and trans folks of color, and introduces a humorous, candid, and human perspective on gay and straight relations within the black community. The documentary aims to challenge ignorance and categorization by showcasing unique individuals with personal power and self-determination, highlighting the importance of camaraderie and sisterhood among straight and gay women and gender non-conformists in the African diaspora.
