Ulysse, a 55-year-old contemporary artist, lives a solitary life in an old manor with his dog Joseph after abandoning his career four years prior. He spends his days playing tennis against a machine or listening to horror movie soundtracks, struggling to admit his boredom. Mona, a 20-year-old arts student, becomes disillusioned with her uneventful life of nude drawing workshops and geriatric teachers. She decides to visit Ulysse, and after an initial failed attempt, they embark on a journey that transforms their lives forever.
