A young girl named Priscilla travels to India with her mother to join her grandfather, a British army colonel, at his post. Upon arrival, she witnesses the capture of Khoda Khan, the leader of an Indian rebel faction. Despite her grandfather's disapproval, Priscilla befriends Khoda Khan and others on the post, including a lieutenant who deserts his duties to take her mother to a dance. As tensions escalate, Priscilla and a servant, who is actually an Indian spy, embark on a journey to Khoda Khan's stronghold.
