In 1862 China, the opium trade is controlled by Lord Lindsey, while the Red Lotus Society, a group of skilled Wushu warriors, fights to bring justice to the people. When Lindsey targets a reverend and his son, Jonathon, the boy is taken by a Red Lotus leader to a safe village where he learns Wushu. Years later, Jonathon fights with the Red Lotus to avenge his father's death. However, he accidentally kidnaps Lindsey's daughter, a princess, putting the village at risk and sparking an epic battle between Lindsey's forces and the Red Lotus Society.
