Yolngu Boy background

Yolngu Boy

Indigenous teenagers leave their troubled past behind and embark on a transformative journey from Arnhem Land to Darwin, fueled by their aspiration to forge a brighter future and reconnect with their ancestral heritage.

Three Yolngu teenagers, Lorrpu, Botj, and Milika, once shared a childhood dream of becoming great hunters together. However, as they grew older, their paths diverged. Botj's poor choices landed him in jail, while Milika focused on football and girls. Lorrpu remained committed to their shared dream and Aboriginal traditions.
