Swedish journalists Martin Schibbye and Johan Persson illegally crossed the border from Somalia into Ethiopia in June 2011 to report on the impact of oil hunting on the Ogaden region's population. They were captured and wounded by the Ethiopian army, and after a Kafkaesque trial, were sentenced to 11 years in prison for terrorism.
