Two aspiring actresses, Dee and Connie, share a small LA apartment and dream of becoming Hollywood stars. Connie's more successful due to her willingness to take risks, including sleeping with powerful men. After Connie leaves for a job in Las Vegas, Dee is raped by their sleazy landlord. She then takes a job at a strip club, where she's forced to fulfill a client's demands. Meanwhile, Dee's talent agent auditions women who are willing to strip for roles. Connie hooks up with a hippie in Las Vegas. As Dee searches for a new apartment, she's drugged and photographed in a compromising position by a perverted Realtor. After the police dismiss her story, Dee decides to follow Connie's advice and use her body to get ahead in the industry.
