Amy Bellefarr, a product development executive at New York-based Blossom, oversees the creation of healthy meal kits using nutritional supplements. When the recipes fail to impress, she searches for a new chef and finds Marcello Favero, who recently left his executive chef position in town to return to Venice. Unable to convince him over the phone, Amy takes a cooking class in Venice, hoping to change his mind. As they clash over their differing opinions on healthy food, they start to fall for each other. However, their growing attraction is threatened by Amy's job and her boss Naomi, who is controlling and disapproving of their relationship.
